Welcome to your Adventure Log!
A blog for your campaign

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.

Dawson's New Eye

Dawson sat back in his recliner located on his trailer that sat parked on the still semi-recently acquired tugboat 'The Swimming Duck'. Papers of various sorts lay across his lap as he looked over potential projects to spend his recently acquired cash from his last job. He was thinking of putting in a few defensive measures to protect his ship, and after all the things he dealt with in the last few months it was probably going to be a sound investment. Between the large amounts of fights and the constant threat of theft he wondered how he somehow switched jobs from contract and merchant negotiator to mercenary. Sure the pay was worlds better but he wondered if he was cut out for this kind of life. Before he could ponder the matter any further he suddenly felt a twinge in his right eye. Almost as if a hair had gotten caught in it. When he blinked reflexively to try to clear it out his sight in that eye suddenly blurred red. Putting a finger up to the edge he felt an unusual wetness. Pulling his hand away his heart skipped a beat as he saw a trail of blood left on his finger. Tossing the papers on his lap aside he bolted for the built in bathroom, complete with mirror, and looked though his good eye at the cause of the blood. What he saw made his heart skip two more beats as it looked like his eye wasn't only just filling with blood but bleeding out though his eyelid. Suddenly Dawson grabbed the sink counter as he felt the bleeding eye shoot massive flashes of pain throughout his body. The pain rapidly grew in intensity as he let out a cry and lurched forwards as his eye shot out a squirt of blood. Gasping his breath and reeling from pain he could only watch on in shock with his other good eye as the bleeding one continued to poor out blood followed by a slimy pop and the sound of something splatting into the sink. What his good eye saw was enough to cause Dawson to lose his lunch right over his newly freed right eye as it lay in the sink in a bloody mess. After hurling he tried to calm himself down despite the pain but could only manage to slide to the floor, his hand still clinging to the sink and his eye still bleeding down his face, and slowly lose consciousness as his now solo eye began to close. * About an hour later Dawson woke slowly, his body still in pain but not nearly as bad now, and looked about from where he was. Carefully he pulled himself up and looked into the mirror, abet hesitantly, and grimaced at what he saw. His entire chest, pants and face was covered in slowly drying blood and his eye was crusted shut from all the said blood. Not sure what to do he gently touched the eye a few times and took a quick intake of breath as touching the spot sent shock waves of pain though his body. Not seeing much else he could do other then head to the local doctor he moved to his bed chambers and pulled out a clean set of clothes and began to prepare a shower, going down to the local doctors covered in more blood then an ax murderer seemed like a bad idea. * After the shower, one that took twice as long as he avoided any contact near his face, Dawson dried him self off and grabbed a soft wet washcloth and headed out to the main room of his trailer. Sitting down in his chair he sighed as he knew things were about to get annoying as he looked up at the floating eye that now occupied the room with him. It was about the size of a large beach ball, it's tentacles hanging laxly behind it save for two in front which it was apparently using as crossed arms. He knew this creature which is why he didn't immediately run off screaming in terror. "So… I assume that this little incident was your doing Yen' Sa WaTon?" Dawson asked leaning back in his chair and carefully dabbing at the outermost edges of his face to clean away the blood. The pain had receded significantly and he was actualy able to make progress at clearing the sanguine liquid from his eye. "Is that a hint of contempt I hear in your voice, little human? You know we don't just bestow these gifts to anyone you know. The first productive member of the Beholder Human alliance you should feel proud that we would stoop to merging the perfect flesh of one of our species with… well… an imperfect species like yours. Why to you it would be like giving opposable thumbs to a worm or maggot of some sort." Dawson was originally going to ask what kind of gift losing his eye was until he realized that, after he finished cleaning it, he was able to see out of both eyes. However what the right eye saw was something entirely different then what the left saw. The left eye saw Yen' Sa WaTon the beholder looking at him. What the right saw was himself looking apparently at himself. Lifting up a hand he saw though his right his body do the same and it slowly began to dawn on him what this was. "Ahh yes at the very least of all the human side members you at least had the aptitude to understand and use our gifts effectively." "You replaced my eye… with some kinda… telepathic visual relay eye. I see what you see…" "Yes… and as amusing as it would be too watch you adjust I must make this short. The eye will allow you to see though the eyes of nearby beholders or ones you have under your direct command. Should there be no beholders around it will simply be black. As you use the eye it will grow and become more powerful based on your decisions and needs. And with that I hope our next meeting is not for a long long time…" With that the Beholder slowly faded from view and Dawson was left alone to ponder what just happened. After a few minutes he slowly began to smile as the possibilities flooded into his mind about what he could do with such an eye. However this was short lived as his thoughts were interrupted by an awful smell. "Oh shit… Now I have the clean up the sink…"

Arived in Working

Dawson Feeds – Medic, Archaeologist, Merchant, Beholder Associate, and paranoid Spaz.

With a slight groan Dawson stirred from his slumber on the floor of his tugboat ‘The Swimming Duck’. His vision was hazy and he was sure that the floor was not the bedroom of his boat. Sitting up slowly he rubbed his eyes and blinked repeatedly to clear the weariness from his eyes. Dawson’s head throbbed as he slowly stood up apprently his hangover was worse then he thought as he moved about his morning routine. The boat was fairly run of the mill save for the middle which contained a large tarp covered Mobile Home APC.

His first and original mode of transportation he acquired the tugboat shortly after arriving in Newark off of some Job dealing with necromancers and a floating castle. The Job had happened a while ago and he didn’t really remember it too clearly other then getting the tugboat as a bonus. After checking the tarp and straps securing the Mobile Home APC to the deck of the boat he slid under the tarp and into the MH-APC. Inside Dawson went about his daily routine of making some cheap coffee and munching on whatever could make a decent short term breakfast.

After the meal and coffee a few facts came to the forefront of Dawsons mind. The first being that his mobile home was a mess far beyond a simple bachelor lifestyle. anything not bolted down was strewn across the inside and many cabinets were half ajar their contents spilled onto the floor. The Second thing that came to mind was the lack of rocking back and forth. His boat was docked in the harbor and while it didn’t shift around comically appropriate manner it did still move when docked. The third and last most important thing he realized was that someone had been screaming at ‘that idiot in the tugboat docked on my HOUSE!’.

Slowly and surely Dawson began to realize something was very very wrong. With speed and agility he didn’t know he had Dawson bolted from his table out his door, under the tarp and securing lines and to the edge of the Duck and spoke for the first time since he woke up.

“What the FUCK!?!”

Staring out across the city of Working he was treated to a magnificent view of the city. Normally one to appropriate such beauty in the hellish world he lived in his mind was however distracted by the very fact that he had such a view across the city. Situated on top of a middle class apartment building his boat rested, somehow balanced, on the roof. The person who had been shouting himself horse finally saw Dawson and resumed his yelling with vigor.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING ON MY APARTMENT YOU IDIOT!?”

Dawson looked down at the man as he continued the shouting along the same vein and blinked multiple times like a computer’s processing light before eventually figuring out that he had to go down there and explain the situation as best he could without actually knowing what the hell just happened.

Now you see it…Now you don’t…(Bank Job)
Financial was the posh bank
First BoW was the one that hired you
Freedom was hit second
Money Pit was hit first.

After finally getting settled into there “boat house”, I (Kerabrar aka Kerab), Sam, Dawson, and Christian had been following the latest events going on in Woking. I was working in my room one morning on some repair work when I over heard my roommates talking about the latest of the bank robberies.

Dawson: “Wow, Luckly im not one of those commoners and my money is safe in Woking Financial. Christian Look at this, Freedom Bank just got hit just like the Money Pit.”

Christian: “Someone should really do something about these roberies before all the money in Woking is gone.”

Dawson: “How much you want to bet its going to be us that does it.”

Just then Sam walks into the common area…

Sam: “Im not doing anything unless im getting paid…now what are we doing again.”

Christian: “Same here… Nothing, yet…But another bank was hit last week.”

Sam: " No Sh.." Ring Ring*

Christian goes to answer the phone while Dawson and Sam talk about the latest robbery.

Christian: “Well Dawson finish up your muffin. you were right we just got a call from the First Bank of Woking. they want us to protect them from getting robbed.”

Sam yells down the hall: “Hey Kerab! get you and your mystical gizmo out here. we got a job.”

Thinking to myself “Damn it, I have to go out and deal with idiots robbing banks… although the money will probably be nice.”.. I yell out “Im coming!”

Before long all the 4 of us went down to the center of town to The First Bank of Woking. As we entered they went to speak to the manger who hired them for this task.

The manager told us about how he was worried about the robbers mysterious ability to get in and out of the vaults without anyone noticing and without leaving any signs of entry or exit. He informed us about the other 2 banks that have been hit and the kind of security in those banks in comparison to his own. As he spoke you could hear the fear in his voice. As we neared the end of the conversation the manager told us that we need to catch the robber by tonight otherwise he needs us to guard the vault. As a reward he will pay us a % of the money found. Hearing this my day just brighten up a bit.

We decided to split up so Dawson and I made our way to Freedom bank a few streets away while Sam and Christian when to the Money Pit. Once there we introduced ourselves to the manager. We decided to interview the guards and review the security videos. I left the interviews to Dawson as deal with all the people turned my stomach. However I commented on wanting to talk to the night guards once they came in. Even tho i did not like dealing with people, I’m able to tell when someone is pulling one over on me. In the mean time I went to check out the videos up in the tech room. After doing a basic check of the system for tampering I reviewed the tapes from the previous day. I was able to scan threw the videos and found a very suspicious character who seem to be casing the bank. I continued to review the videos keeping an eye out for this guy. After going threw days of videos over a few hours, I got a print out of the suspect and headed back down stairs to find Dawson. Dawson had just finished interviewing the night guards. I asked the guards a few questions trying to get a feel weather or not they were in on it but they seemed to be innocent. I told Dawson about the guy in the videos and showed him the photo. We asked the bank personal about the guy but with no luck. Since Dawson was complaining about getting a sandwich of some sorts we went to go grab lunch.

Out in the market I bought a newspaper to find any deals on sandwiches. Also I was looking for any radio, I realized that we did not have one to talk with Sam and Christian however Dawson, the cheapo, did not seem to care. Dawson and I got a bite to eat and I went to check out a few radios while Dawson went back to the First bank of Woking. After checking out a few shops with no luck on a radio I head back to the bank to join Dawson and hoped that Sam and Christian had some luck at the Money Pit.

I told the guards at First Bank of Woking to look out for the mysterious guy and then reviewed the video looking for signs of the robber from previous days. After reviewing the video and taking a nap Sam and Christian showed up and they too had found the same guy in the videos.

Sam, Christian, and I decided to stake out the place while Dawson went to look into Woking Financial. From the tech room I could see the whole bank from the video including Sam disguised as a guard and the plant I thought Christian was hiding behind tho I wasn’t 100% sure. Soon enough the guy from the video showed up and started casing the place. After a few mins we decided to move in. As Christian started to move in the suspect went into the bathroom. A few mins after Christian went into the bathroom to see if he could find him. Without a camera in the bathroom I cast wizard eye and flew through the bank into the bathroom. It startling a few patrons. I could see Christian standing there looking out the broken barred window. I quickly checked all the stales and found nothing. Christian then radioed in saying he must of escaped threw the window by use of magic of some means. Sam when to look around the back of the bank to see if he could find the trail. But the trail had gone cold.

After some time has pasted Dawson came back saying he ran into the guy at Woking Finanical. He chased him down the street and one of his eyes shot him give him a massive wound. Christian and Dawson went to see if they could find the suspect at a local healer. Sam went to collected some of the combat gear at the boat house. I said I would stay behind at First Bank of Woking keeping an eye out for the suspect. As the end of day came closed the group contacted me and said they caught the guy but he has accomplice, about 18 guys. The rest of the guys said they were going to find them. I offered to stay in the vault for the night in case the other got into the bank some how while the others went to see if they could stop the rest of the gang.

During the long night by myself, thank god, I worked on some new ideas for a robot companion as well as firearms to outfit himself and the robot. Finally the morning came and the bank manager let me out of the vault. Shortly after the rest of the guys showed up. The manager thanked us all for our work and paid us $6000 wokings.

Ratsicals -(item recovery of a pipe)

I was reading the paper peacefully one morning when i came across an ad asking for help recovering a lost item. The part that really caught my eye was there was a reward. Just then Sam came in to the galley looking for some breakfast.

Sam: “Good morning Kerab. Any interesting news?”

Kerab: “Grum is still at large.”

Sam: “Still? wonder if there going to raise the bounty on him.”

Kerab: “Speaking of making money, there is an ad in the paper offering a reward to recover some item. I figured it was worth checking out.”

Sam: “Ya, sure, why not…Dawson! Christian!”

Dawson and Christian came down into the galley. Christain looked a little frazled.

Christian: “What?! What happened?”

Sam: “Well good morning sunshine. Get ready. Kerab found a job for us.”

Christian and Sam just then both looked at me in surprise and wonder.
Kerab: “Ya some guy placed an ad offering a reward to find an item. I figured its worth checking out.”

Dawson looked nonchalant about the idea gave a shrug and nodded in approval then headed back to his room. Christian wasn’t as calm as Dawson.

Christian: “Thats it?! i nearly killed myself getting down here i was moving so fast…”

Just then he stormed off to his room. Sam yelled down the hall as he walked away.

Sam: “So does that mean your coming?!”

Christian: “Ya give me a few!”

Once everyone got ready we took a rickshaw over to the man’s house.

Knock knock The man answers the door.

Man: “Hello, Can i help you?”

Sam: “Yes, we are hear about the ad you placed.”

Man: “O wonderful come in.”

We all stepped in and the man told us about the item he wished use to fine. He told us it was a package that had gotten lost during the war. His great grandfather had mailed a package back from America. His family received a pick up form from what once was a local delivery facility that has now gone “missing”. The man and his family has been waiting to know for decades what the package is. The man gave the group a copy of the pickup form so they would be able to identify the package.

Man: “Here you go. Here is your copy…I know i said the Delivery place is lost but many thing it is buried under Woking in the sewers.”

The group thanks the man and head out. Christian having knowledge of the area lead the group to a sewer location that he believe was close to were the delivery place use to be. However we had to make a quick stop at the market so Dawson could get a bio hazard suit so he didn’t ruin his clothes.

Once down in the sewer we traveled till we came across a tunnel filled with rocks. I cast a few spells and after some time cleared the tunnel so we could pass threw it. on the other side we saw the ruins of an old warehouse. I entered first. As i pushed open the front doors i found myself in a lobby of an office with a front desk. While looking around the dark room I noticed 4 furry ugly creatures pop up from behind the desk. I readied my pistol and asked “Who was there?!”. At the sound of my voice the rest of the guys got ready. All of a sudden something came streaming towards me and got stuck in my vest. I fired a shot but too late they had ran off
into the next room.

We split up after the rats. I followed Sam into the room in front while Dawson and Christian went to the left. We seemed to enter a room that looked like a break room. Once we entered we heard some fire fight coming from the other room. I heard from the other room that they are in the frigs and coming from the ceiling. We checked the frig and then I opened fire on the ceiling hoping to hit anything up there. I noticed a red spot and fired again in that area. A rat fell down. I searched him and took his crossbow and threw it in my bag.

I cast my wizard eye and hand and gave my pistol to the hand. I could see the above the rooms was all open. I searched the area for a bit and then saw something and opened fire. With the strong recoil of the gun my hand few back. I brought my gun back to me and then had the hand and eye search the top. All of the sudden a loud boom happened and the hand and eye disappeared.

Kerabrar: “Bastards have the place booby trapped.”

Sam continued on to the next room which again looked like a break room and as soon as he stepped over the threshold half of the room’s floor dropped away. Lucky he didn’t fall. He lowered a rope and we climbed down into the basement.

Kerabrar: “Another break room. Does anyone do work around here?”

Behind us we found a walk in freezer. Sam went to check out in there and from a frozen rat. He told me to make sure the door stays open. He walked through the freezer and into another room. I went to check out the frig in this room. Luckily i didn’t get blown up when i checked it. Next to the frig was an entrance to a small room with a bin filled with frig doors. From the other side of the wall i hear gun shots going right into the area in front of me. Just then a rat jumped out of the bin which was eye to eye with the muzzle of my pistol.

Kerabrar: “ Don’t move! Who are you?! What do you want?!”

The rat made some squeaky sounds then tried to run. I put him down to the group and tied him up. I banged on the wall and yelled i got one. I dragged him out into the larger room which me and Sam entered. Sam came back into the room from the walk in frig. Shock came across his face as he looked up at the room above my head and then arrows came flying at him. I dropped my pistol and opened fire with my rifle from the area where the arrow came from. Sam jumped back into the walk in frig. All i could hear above me was the scattering of little feet. I walked into the opening and check the floor above but they were gone. I gave Sam a minor healing pot to get him back on his feet. We tried up the rat I caught to the door then over the radio Sam got a call to hurry up and get down to Dawson and Christian. They had found the nest with the Rat Queen. Sam and I both ran down to where we thought they were. When we got there they had already opened fire on the Queen. I covered the one of the entrances to the room while the 3 of them were laying down fire. They then started killing all the eggs and I went back to the room with the rat. There seemed no point in keeping him around and with him nearly dead i put him out of his misery.

We continued to search the rooms and finally Dawson got fed up and just started open fire to make his own door ways. The first wall he had his eyes punch through opened up into a room with packages in it. we checked all the packages and sure enough we found the one we were looking for. We raided the other packages but found them to be useless junk.

We made our way out of the building and back into the sewers to the street. Once there we took the package back to the man. After all the damn rat people we had to deal with to find this thing we all wanted to know what it was. The man was grateful enough to let us see. He opened the package and there was a very old pipe with fairly good craftsmanship. I could tell that the object had some magical properties. The man paid us $2000 wokings, $500 for each of us.

The Market.

After getting $2000 each we went to the market to buy some items. I myself got a ring that had been enchanted for short money. It however only turned the wears eyes greens. The other item i got was a head in a jar which i could feel had some strong spell on it. After getting it analyzed with the ring i found out if a person is fused with the head it will give them the ability to act twice as fast and do 2 things at once. However the head has a strong mind of its own and will try and take over when the host is stressed. I was also able to sell the crossbow for a nice chunk of change.

7.23.11-Kerabrar-The Kingstone Boys Raids

I was still inching for more money. The last 2 jobs gave me some extra spending money but nothing to write home about, literally. My repair works were just enough to cover my living expensive so I wanted to find another job and fast. Any little bit would help.
I was excited the morning we got the letter asking for help with the raiders. I was hoping the group would agree to the job otherwise I was going to suggest taking down Grum, whose bounty had just been raised to $5k.

We went to go talk to the guy who gave us the letter. I was interested in learning any information that could help us catch the raiders. Eldric Sharpe wasn’t very helpful. He told us the general area where the attacks were happened, which happened to be about a half a day’s worth of travel. He wasn’t able to give us any relevant information about the attacks but recommended that we talk to the merchants.

We went to the merchant area in Woking to see if we could find some people who had been attacked and any info that could give us. Dawson and I went to go take to one group while Sam and Christian talked to another. After watching Dawson nearly ruin the group’s reputation I was hoping he would do better with the next group so I wouldn’t have to talk to anyone. We talked to a guy who has been ambushed. He told us a little bit about the group who raided his caravan. Mainly they were all armed with various guns and armor and kind of rag tag looking, no 2 were the same. While he wasn’t heading back out he knew another group that was.

Dawson and I went to talk to the other caravan to see if we could join up with them. I had called over Sam and Christian. Both Christian and I wanted to get paid for our guard services. The deal was if we stay the day at day’s end we got paid $80. While $80 isn’t much it’s better than nothing I thought.

We gathered our gear and in the morning we head out with the caravan. I was riding in one of the wagons. While we were waiting to get to the area where the raids were happening I made some poison bullets for Sam. Around noon we stopped for lunch and then soon headed out again. I was glad to be back on the road. I didn’t care for all the socializing plus I wanted to get the job done and get paid.

Once we were back on road we started to enter the area the raids were taking place. I cast wizard eye to scout ahead. A little while down the road I saw a jeep that seemed like it was attacked. Looking around the area I saw a trail and followed it with my eye. The trail went south then west, parallel to the road. At the end I found a camp site with a fire pit. I wasn’t sure how recent it was but there seem to be a lot of people here and trails going off in many directions. Over the radio I recommended that someone drive ahead and check out the area I found.

Dawson and Christian came back saying they had found the site but it looked inactive for a few days. We decided to say with the caravan till the end of the day to see if anything happened. The rest of the day was uneventful. We made camp for the night and Christian and I got our $80. In the morning we decided to say with the caravan for another half day. At lunch we decided to go back to the campsite we found. It seemed the most likely spot for the raiders plus we were out of there area by now, not to mention I was glad to get away from all those people.

We were almost at the turn off for the trail when a large boom went off in front of us and dig was showered all over the car. Wanting to see what was going on around us I magically gathered all the dirt off the car so we could all see what was going on around us. As Dawson flew the camper into reverse and the dirt settled I could see a large pit in front of us as a trap. Before I could turn around to see where we were going bullets started hitting the car from behind us. I created a wall of earth to stop the oncoming bullets from the left side. Dawson slammed on the breaks and started to drive forward. I readied my pistol but was unable to get a clear shot. Sam and Christian were firing like crazy and I could hear Dawson’s eyes firing away.

Dawson went down and around the pit to the far side. I was able to get a shot off from out the back. We all go out of the camper using it as cover. I got to the front of the camper and laid down and to a few shots. This range was way too far for my pistol. After a few shot which were probably misses I summoned a wizard hand and had it go up for a better shot. Before my hand got close the shooting stopped. We all came out and approached the 2 groups of bodies.

We found 6 guys on each side of the road lying in the ditch. 4 dead but 8 of them just knocked out. We tied them all up and then woke one. Sam did the questioning. He found out that this was one of 4 raiding parties and they were a part of the Kingstone Boys, I noticed Christian go white at the sound of this. I was looking around at the gear these buys were carrying. The armor was all shot up but the gun I figured could fetch some money on the market. Sam agreed to let the guy live but he planned on killing the rest. Dawson argued this not waiting to leave any alive. So next thing I knew the remaining 8 were dead and we were looting the bodies.

To Be Continued….

Meet the Messenger

“Seriously what is this shit…”

Dawson said to no one in particular as he walked around his treaded camper van. The bullet holes had riddled the backside and light was streaming in from the outside. Mostly the insides were still OK. Not many had hit anything important, one lucky shot had manged to shatter the glass of one of his windows although he suspected it might have been more likely one of his associates being a little overeager in their attempts to return fire. Either way the glass was smashed and it would cost to repair it. Dawson’s face cast a look that was, to be put simply, just shy of pissed off. Since the group was planning to organize the local trade groups in order to retaliate against this group of raiders it be unlikely that his claim for the cost of repairs he’d send to the hirer would even get looked at.

“The only damage these kingstoner idiots did was to my ride and Christian is looking like he’s going to shit himself at the thought of facing them…”

Making his way inside the bullet ridden camper Dawson sat down on one of his chairs and put his face to his hands rubbing his eyes slightly at the approaching migraine. His companions were currently looting the rest of the corpses and he had some time to himself.

“My eyes do not look demonic anyways…”

He mumbled to himself as he leaned back in the chair. Just a year or two ago he would have jumped at the eye teleporting in behind him but his interactions with the American hive of beholders and just plain getting used to it stopped him from doing anything other then slumping his shoulders as it materialized behind him. A larger eye then the ones he could summon, the older the eyes got the more size they gained, Dawson recognized a more important eye when he saw one. His interaction with the United kingdoms, for lack of a better name considering the old orders had long since died, beholder hive had been strained slightly. Apparently when he was sent over from America by the hive there the UK beholders had never been informed and summoning eyes for the first time was problematic since their hive was much more rigid organizationally.

“Well if it isn’t my contact with the UK hive, how are the eye stalklings Shin.”

Dawson said to himself his flippant speech covering up how much he hated answering to the more uptight hive.

“Four of our pup eyes have faded back to the hive wounded and hurt while the two remaining have also suffered pain. What has transpired here that would cause such injury.”

“I got attacked and I defended myself alongside the eyes. Fights happen and bullets get shot what do you want me to do jump in front of anything that might hurt even the most basic eye?”

Dawson’s irritation growing slightly. He knew the UK hive valued the pup eyes almost less then the American ones yet they constantly treated them like they were an important part of their order if they got hurt under Dawson’s watch. Another reason he hated dealing with this hive.

“Yes”

“Well too bad, if you want less injuries to your eyes give me more to work with. Ever since I came here I’ve been stripped of most of my abilities, even the eye you beholders gave me doesn’t work anymore and that COST ME A LOT ASSHOLE!”

Dawson replied shouting the last part as his temper flared and got the better of him. Taking a deep breath as he squared off with the eye, standing in order to do so, he continued.

“If you want your eyes to fare better under my watch give me more to work with or get the hell out of my face. I can barely protected myself much less your eyes when we come across raiders much less a dragon that you sill want me to hunt. Also this ‘all eyes are importent’ bullshit is getting old I know you idiots value the pup eyes even less then I do and at least the American hive limited the mule eye operation to eyes that were retarded.”

The Messenger eye mostly listened nonplussed but the last jab caused it to narrow its eyelid in anger.

“You forget your place human I leave you to your own devices now but do not think your words will always be accepted like so.”

With that the messenger eye vanished as Dawson heard his associates outside talking about survivors in the raider group. His transplanted eye throbbing slightly as he sighed and muttered to himself.

“Seriously what is with this shit…”
