For the most part, the Canadian provinces are almost indistinguishable from the former United States. There are numerous city-states which are loosely affiliated with each other, separated by large expanses of lawless wasteland.
The territories are a different matter. There are no city-states in the territories, or even large settlements. Oddly, though, there are also no raiders. The area is policed harshly by its inhabitants. Whoever it is living there has proven very elusive.
