Hibing is a small pastoral human town on the outskirts of the Superior Forest in Canada. It is a very simple place that wouldn’t have looked out of place in 9th century France. Its people work very closely with the local Treants who they revere as nature spirits. Hibites act as intermediaries for their Treants, trading with outside humans on their behalf. Their primary export is Liviol wood. Outsiders often buy the Hibites’ small stone and metal statues of trees. Their main imports are all manner of technological devices, although it is not known where they keep any of it. They have also been known to purchase fish, but on a smaller scale.
